user access information is gathered by a central PC-based
workstation where the administrators can retrieve and analyze

movement within an organization, whether it is a small company

In
this model, a device is authorized by the remote Area Controller Module
(ACM) for use on the network, and configures itself according
to parameters that are passed to it from the head end. This sequence
of events occurs automatically without user
involvement, so the system operates securely and effortless.

The
System utilizes state-of-the-art security features to provide
a wealth of new revenue generating services to the security
industry. Our system has two main devices. Number one is a Door Monitoring Module called as DMM and number two is Area Controller Module called as ACM.
Features :
The
DMM is mounted at the door which has to be secured from
unauthorized entry. This unit has one control board, one power
supply board powered by the mains power supply. The whole unit
is battery backed by three levels of power backup. The DMM
also has a Proximity card reader for authentication and
verification. The reader is connected to the main DMM board
via Wigand interface or RS232 Interface. On board the DMM is 3
relays for Door Strike control, 2 Sensor inputs for Alarm
Sensors. The intelligence for the DMM is from the main
Processor which controls the whole unit. This device has
onboard Ethernet controller and all the communication
hardware. The Physical connection is through the RJ45
connector provided on board. The DMM is powered by a SMPS (Switched Mode Power Supply)
board which operates with a universal power input.
The
PSU (Power Supply Unit) also host a powerful charger circuit
which continuously charges the backup battery.
The
DMM are connected to the ACM through the standard Ethernet
Interface. The ACM is a computer running the server software
which monitors and control all the DMM connected to the
network. The authorized client can login to the server with a
valid user name and password and monitor the Doors.
When
the DMM is powered on, it follows one of two scenarios. If it
is logging on to the network for the first time, the DMM
automatically updates the ACM through SNMP commands. The SNMP
Secure network communication channels’ using the Secure
Agent is a UDP service that allows remote management stations
(ACM) to monitor a unit (DMM) remotely (via the
LAN/WAN/Internet).
If
the DMM has previously accessed the network it finds the
information data, it looks for a message that contains the
basic parameters like time date, card number. The DMM then
transmits a message trap to the ACM of its existence. Through
a series of messages and interactions, the DMM establishes IP
connectivity using DHCP, or dynamic addressing. Once the DCU
has been configured, it registers with the ACM on the network.
STATE-OF-THE-ART
Communication protocol
The
system offers the latest in communication over the Ethernet
SNMP. The SNMP-1 Offer a very secure way of communication over
the Network. The DMM will be running a Secure SNMP Agent and a
DHCP client. The ACM hosts a SNMP Manager managing the secure
MIBS and the DHCP manager.
